Registration is now open for the 2024 Your Town Alabama Leadership Workshop to be held at Camp McDowell April 3-5!

Your Town Alabama - Designing Its Future provides community leaders with critical tools for organizing, recruiting, and strategically developing community and economic development projects while retaining the things that make a small or rural town special. It provides a toolbox for identifying what is good in a community and magnifying and expanding the benefits of those assets.

This two-and-a-half-day workshop is an all-inclusive educational experience that includes workshop materials, lodging, meals, refreshments, and southern hospitality while providing participants with a unique opportunity to learn how to work with a wide range of personalities to overcome barriers that prevent communities from seeing real economic development.

You’ll learn how to use writing, drawings, and conversation to effectively shepherd big ideas through the complicated and strenuous process of project development.
