8 a.m. The black screen of death ☠️ See the tissue? Yea. I was crying at Best Buy, scrambling to get it fixed, so I could run a business. Here's what I learned:

💻 In times of panic, what are you going to do? Fight to figure it out, or sit and let it win?

💻 Just when you think you have backups covered - guess again!

💻 We rely way too much on computers. I stared at it thinking, please power on. I need you. (Wow! Sounds like an addiction.)

💻 Sometimes "holding it together" just needs to go out the window. It's okay for people to see you break (even walking around the kitchen appliances section, trying to calm down).

💻 When times are tough, look for the helpers. And Best Buy had two angels doing that with me that day.

💻 At some point, you can't be perfect for clients. Technology might win, but the real question is - have you done everything you can? If yes, then let it go.

✅ I always think, how do I not do this again?

👄 Maya Angelo said it best - "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better."

💾 Well, we buy a second laptop. And... we have a phone, backup power supplies for the computer and for the internet router, the cloud and Dropbox for files, hire a virtual assistant and then... margaritas if the whole thing blows up! haha 🤣

Makes for a good story, right? I'd like to not have that story, but here we are!

👉👉 To the Best Buy sales guy that bought the laptop tool kit out of his own money so he could help me, thank you. I will pay it forward, as I promised that day.

Leadership and puppies? Yep. If we do what we've always done, we'll get what we've always gotten.

Why not do it differently and have fun at it?!

Puppy yoga refilled the soul from 75 minutes of smiling and laughing with cute little golden doodles dancing around.

🚗 Lead with - They're built from a motorcycle engine, and my 6'1" tall self did not fit in them 🤭, but Legend Cars are tiny and mighty! . Here's what I learned:

🚓 The police car races were the most scandalous - they break the rules. 😁

🚓 Engines break, and sometimes you can't fix it in time to race.

🚓 Safety is numero uno - everyone respects that commandment.

🚓 I had no idea this was a thing, or that it was in our city, haha.

🚓 The fans are loud and loyal - even a group there for their wedding reception. 👰‍♂️

🚓 Bring ear plugs - they're small but still loud!

🚓 It's a festival of mechanics testing their builds, going 120+ mph

🚓 Kids get involved in racing early - one was 13 years old. Whoa.

🚓 The meet and greet on the track was packed - the racers are proud of what they do and what they've built.

🚓 How neat is it that we all have different passions.

👉👉 How about you? Would you fit in a tiny car and zip around a track going 90 mph on turns?!
