This reminds me of the age old saying "Actions Speak Louder than Words".

This is what I find the hardest about social media...having to always 'say' something to be visible. I'd much rather 'listen' and 'observe' to see how things come together.

I get it though, it's an online world and if you don't 'say' something no one will know who you are. Doesn't make it less exhausting.

Where are all my introverted peeps...do you feel this too?

It’s Official, I received certification as a Military-Spouse Owned Enterprise!

Today I proudly celebrate an achievement in becoming an officially recognized Military Spouse-Owned Enterprise by The U.S. Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce. This is a first and only of its kind certification and I am so honored to be an early adopter to their mission.

Halloween this year was fun. Got to be a bit creative with the sewing machine to patch a Hans Solo-ish costume together to keep up with the boys. The boys did a Fall Fest last weekend and then we all went to an event for deployed spouses/children. Plus passed out candy on Halloween. Lots of pictures, smiling faces, some terrified cries (from little little ones) and lots of compliments on the boys’ costumes.

Seems like halloween tends to bring out my creative side. The sewing machine gets dusted off and the thrift store trips happen. I enjoy seeing an idea and then figuring how how to bring it to life.

Outside of your daily job, do you enjoy certain projects because it brings out a strength in you that you may not get to use on a daily basis?

For me it's genealogy research, I can dive in for hours. It brings out one of my Top 5 , Analytical.

👉 Examine relevant data.
👉 Collect facts and read materials.
👉 Try to find patterns in the data.
👉 Organize ideas.

I also volunteer with FamilySearch by Indexing to make records searchable online.
