🚒 Mutual Aid in Action! 🚒

We love seeing mutual aid between departments. Empire Fire & Rescue and Town of Sipsey Fire responded to a single-vehicle MVA on Empire Road.

Upon arrival, they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames, with the garage building next to it showing heavy smoke from inside. Crews quickly geared up and attacked the vehicle fire before moving inside the garage to begin an interior attack. The fire was quickly knocked down, and thankfully, there were no injuries.

This incident is a great example of why mutual aid and strong relationships between departments are so important to communities. Working together allows departments to provide the manpower, resources, and rapid response needed to protect lives and property when communities need it most.

A huge shoutout to all departments for the great teamwork! 👨‍🚒🔥

Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department recently taught the departments Junior Firefighters a couple simple skills every teen should learn…how to change a tire and how to use a fire extinguisher.

The department has a junior firefighte program for teenagers between the ages of 14-18.

Thank you Fairhope VFD for your leadership, commitment and dedication to your community. We love seeing with a junior firefighter program.
