ONE YEAR. 💙

On September 8, 2025, I officially opened the doors of Imperial Consulting Services Group.

I knew I was supposed to start. What I didn't know was everything that would come after I did.

What started with a vision has grown into so much more over the past 365 days. We've served clients, expanded services, built relationships, stepped into new rooms, introduced new ideas, learned some hard lessons, celebrated some wins—and kept building.

And somewhere in the middle of building the business, I realized the business was building me too.

Year One hasn't been perfect. It hasn't always been easy. But it has been worth it.

To every client, partner, family member, friend, supporter, referral, connection, and person who has encouraged IC along the way—THANK YOU. Every appointment, share, introduction, conversation and opportunity has mattered.

Today, I'm simply grateful.

One year down. And there is still so much more to come.

Did you know we provide both Live Scan and traditional ink fingerprinting?

While many fingerprint submissions are now electronic, physical fingerprint cards are still required for certain employers, agencies, licensing processes and other applications.

That’s why IC Biometric & Identity Services offers both.

If you’ve been told you need a physical fingerprint card, bring your instructions or required card with you and we’ll help make sure you’re getting the service your requesting agency requires.

Not sure whether you need Live Scan or a physical card? Ask the requesting agency which format they require before scheduling.

One thing I’ve been intentional about with IC is building services around what our clients actually need—not just one way of doing things. We provide electronic Live Scan fingerprinting, but we also still provide traditional ink fingerprint cards when physical cards are required. Building depth, one service at a time.

Truly honored to have had the opportunity to present once again for the Auburn University Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies.

Last week, in partnership with River Region United Way, I had the privilege of speaking with nonprofit leaders and changemakers about resilience, leadership, and navigating challenges while continuing to serve with purpose.

Thank you to the organizers, attendees, and fellow presenters for allowing me to be part of such a meaningful day of learning and growth. Together, we are helping build stronger organizations and stronger communities.

There’s a season in life and business where it feels like you’re doing all the right things… showing up, preparing, refining, building relationships, and planting seeds — yet the tangible results seem delayed.

But I’m learning that in many spaces, people often:
watch you first,
test you second,
use you third,
and rely on you later.

Trust is built over time.
Credibility is built over time.
And sometimes the “lag phase” is simply preparation meeting opportunity at the right moment.

Keep showing up.
Keep building.
Keep believing.
