Ever wonder why tiny cut vinyl lettering can cost more than you'd expect?

This video shows exactly why.

The vinyl cutter may only take a few minutes, but the real work begins afterward.

What you're watching is the process of "weeding" vinyl lettering that's just 3/16" tall. Every tiny center of every letter has to be removed by hand using an X-Acto knife and tweezers. There's no machine that can do this part. It requires a steady hand, patience, and years of experience.

This is also one of the reasons you don't see tiny cut vinyl decals nearly as often as you used to. Advances in digital printing allow many small labels and decals to be produced more efficiently while still looking great. But when a project truly calls for cut vinyl, there's simply no shortcut—it's still done by hand, one tiny piece at a time.

Sometimes the smallest lettering requires the biggest investment of time.

Out with the old, in with the new! ✨

These two large window decals had definitely seen better days, so it was time for a fresh update. We removed the worn graphics and installed brand-new decals that give this building a clean, vibrant look once again!

A big thank you to the Richland R&R 4-H Club for organizing the installation of a new welcome sign on the edge of Cascade! 💚🍀

This project was a true collaboration between Dubuque County 4-H and Jones County 4-H, featuring a beautiful dual-sided sign that welcomes visitors on behalf of all the 4-H clubs in both counties.

We also appreciate partnering with Express Sign & Logo LLC to create these new signs, replacing two longtime community signs that served Cascade for many years.

Great work, Richland R&R! Thank you for your leadership, teamwork, and dedication to making this project a reality.

We're excited to share our latest completed project for Legacy Lanes and Big Bri's Pizza Pies.

The centerpiece is a 27-foot-long Legacy Lanes vintage inspired, contour cut ACM sign. Projects like this require a great deal of planning, precision, and teamwork, and we're proud to see the finished result.

A special thank you to Brian Meyer for trusting us with such an important part of his business. He chose to handle the installation, and he did an excellent job bringing everything together.
