Hello, everyone! We just wanted to post a little update that our Semiquincentennial RS3 #250 (SKUs 25677, 25678) have entirely SOLD OUT. All orders are locked and we will not be accepting more at this time. We thank you all for your orders and were very surprised how quickly these went!

We expect these to show up by early August with the next run of RS3s, so stay tuned for more updates!

As promised, here is a small update on the GMD SD40. I don't want to show off too much; but want to keep you all in the loop of things.

Small list of changes:

- Revised flexicoil side frames
- Ditchlights for CN versions have been scaled properly
- All versions have new ground light housings
- Tri colored (W,G,R) classlights front and rear where applicable
- fully revised cab interior w/ working gauge lights
- Upgraded underbody detail including traction motor cables and sanding lines
- Revised fans that will now have etched metal screens on top.
- Shell will be fully removable without wires, but will have screws to prevent the issue found on the -2W.

In addition, we're upgrading how you can remove the gearbox cover. It will now use 6 small screws rather than plastic clips as seen on our models previously. We feel this will make it easier to lubricate the model and removal of the side frames for maintenance.

There is much work to be done, but it's essentially an all new model compared to where it was several months ago.

Some of the newly added details to the next run of RS3s that'll hopefully be arriving by late July... All new brake chains, sanding lines across all SKUs. The INT #30 as shown has a really awesome working 'yard light' along with an all new cab vent. These are just a couple of the many all new detail parts found on this run. Thank you again to our friend Paul Strubeck for providing the measurements for these two specific pieces!

Hello, everyone! We know it's been awhile since I've written any updates regarding progression on some outstanding locomotive projects.

We should have samples for the 7th batch of RS3's very soon --- we had a small hang up with the main PCB as we switched a couple little things around with it. Just need to inspect the revised version of that and if all goes well, approve it. Then the finished samples should be mailed to us soon after.

We've also been extensively working on the GMD SD40. We've been taking our time to go through and update many aspects of it. The original drawings for this project were reminiscent of our SD40-2. That will no longer be the case as we changed the chassis a good bit to accommodate more weight, a new speaker, and better space for the electronics inside.

Work is also continuing on the 8th batch of RS3s as well with intentions to have this in production soon after the 7th is finished.

Good morning all. We received a new round of 70-ton hopper samples, now including all parts missing on previous versions in addition to the end cage sizes being refined. These now include the advertised die cast frames, adding much needed weight that some Stewart-era cars lacked.

Good morning all! I've gone back and forth with our designers and had the end posts on the 70-ton hoppers refined. We should receive new samples once the molds are made. -Casey
