Another small update on the GMD SD40 progression - underbody detail!

For me, this will be a huge highlight in giving this locomotive even more depth than we've ever done on any of our models. Going forward, this will be setting a new standard for any of our models to come. It's truly amazing to see this slowly everything has together. Now to get some other things ironed out and once we feel everything is where it should - off to tooling we will go to further progress along.

Hello, everyone!

I am currently working our GMD SD40 and have come upon a bit of an obstacle. For the first few orders that the CN got, they have a rock plow, but it's very oddly shaped. I'm curious if anyone here might have drawings and measurements of it. It'd be very greatly appreciated as I'd like to have it be authentic as possible.

Here's a little teaser as work has begun to continue on the SW1001 project. I plan to get this further into design later this while plans are still in place to finish up others. Things are going swell for the GMD SD40 right now with most of our assemblies nearing completion.

I'm also picking up slack on the batch 8 RS3s with batch 7 having just left China. We're expecting batch 7 to arrive sometime mid September. I'll leave a link below as to clear up confusion which batch is which.

Second run of C415s is just about to be approved for production to begin very soon as well.

My goal is to soon begin work on the EMD SD40 while design work is being done to the SW1001.

At this time, this is the current planning I have set for juggling all these projects going into 2027. We're also planning some new announcements for a little bit of filler for you all. Stay tuned as there might be a few surprises to come.
