Action Circles is seeking to hire Legislative Assistants for the upcoming 2025 Legislative Session.

This position is an opportunity to develop a deep knowledge about the legislative process, including how a bill becomes law, State House procedures and jargon, the development of the annual state budget, and who the key players are for key issues. Legislative Assistants will closely monitor the committee process in the Vermont Statehouse and gain experience in political strategy work.

These positions are temporary (November 2024 through May 2025) and salaried based on $25/hour for 34 hours per week. We encourage anyone to apply for this position!

It's that time of year again! Action Circles is seeking to hire two Legislative Assistants for the upcoming 2024 Legislative Session.

This position is an opportunity to develop a deep knowledge about the legislative process, including how a bill becomes law, State House procedures and jargon, the development of the annual state budget, and who the key players are for key issues. Legislative Assistants will closely monitor the committee process in the Vermont Statehouse and gain experience in political strategy work.

Both of these positions are temporary and salaried based on $20/hour for 32 hours per week. We encourage anyone to apply for this position!

Hunger Free Vermont is capturing statewide need for groceries, prepared meals, water, and infant formula. The State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) has asked HFVT to gather this information in order to secure state and federal funds to meet immediate needs of those impacted by the flood, and also to create a plan to meet the longer-term food needs of people and communities during recovery.

Please help by filling out the survey below, so that we can work to get state funding for food and prepared meals resources for those who need them as a result of this new disaster.
