Meet Axis™ in person at ARMA InfoCon 2026.
We introduced Axis, our new one-touch document scanner, earlier this month. ARMA InfoCon in Savannah, Georgia, is the first place we’ll show it live since the announcement.

Axis brings minimal-prep, one-touch scanning to a single-bin configuration. It runs on a production-class transport, supports both continuous batch scanning and scan-from-folder workflows, and handles mixed media at up to 120 ppm. Teams can choose a fixed workstation or the Axis-M mobile model, depending on where scanning happens.

Stop by Booth #803, October 25 to 28, for a live demo with our team.

While you’re there, catch Tim Shields, Business Development Manager, BPO/Federal Government, presenting “Paper Is Still Data: Turning Physical Records into Trusted, AI-Ready Information” in the Experience Hall.

A-frame sorters are fast at exactly one thing: high-volume, uniform items.

Most catalogs stopped being uniform years ago.

We put A-frames next to robotic sortation on flexibility and on what happens when your SKU mix changes.

Just a few days until In Focus: OPEX® Sure Sort® X. Thursday, October 1. Live system, our engineers, your questions. If you have been trying to work out whether robotic sortation fits your volumes, your item mix, or your building, this is the hour to ask. Not a slides-only sales pitch. Bring the awkward question.

Nobody has a line item called "paper."

It hides in storage leases, in the hour a clerk spends looking for a file, in the re-keying, in the courier, in the audit that takes three weeks instead of three days. Which is exactly why it never gets fixed.

We added it up. The number surprises most finance teams.

Read the breakdown, then check it against your own budget: https://hubs.li/Q04wrwxg0

Most sorters put an item down. Sure Sort® X can pick it back up.

That is OPEX Xtract™. Automated retrieval from the sort wall, so orders do not wait on someone walking the line to collect them. Sortation and retrieval share a footprint, a control system, and a support number.

We go through it in detail at In Focus on October 1st.

The digital mailroom pays for itself before the transformation project even starts.

You do not need a five-year roadmap to stop sorting mail by hand. Capture at the point of arrival, index once, route automatically, and the rest of the organization gets same-day access to what it used to wait a week for.

Day-one productivity, not year-three benefits. Here is how it works: https://hubs.li/Q04vgLVx0

In Focus: Sure Sort® X is ten days out. Here is what we are covering on October 1st.

- Up to 20 iBOT® delivery vehicles, up to 2,100 items per hour
- Sort locations you configure: mixed bin sizes, not a fixed grid
- Chilled 34°F to ambient 90°F, so cold storage is on the table
- Installed in as little as one week, expandable by up to 15 additional modules

Then we open it up for questions. Register: https://hubs.li/Q04wrlmj0

Vertical lift modules are good at storing things. They are less good at giving them back quickly.

One tray at a time, one operator waiting. Add a second order and the queue starts. It is a density solution being asked to do a throughput job.

We put VLMs side by side with OPEX® robotic goods-to-person systems. Where each one wins, and where the math stops working.

Read it before your next storage decision.

Compliance teams and operations teams usually want opposite things. One wants every step documented. The other wants fewer steps.

Modern capture is where that argument ends. Fewer touches means fewer places a record can go wrong, and a cleaner audit trail for the touches that remain.

Our eBook "Built for Compliance" lays out how to specify a scanning system that satisfies both sides.

Modern Materials Handling covered what Sure Sort® X did for Alliance Entertainment: a catalogue of small, wildly varied media items sorted at volume, on a system they could reconfigure as the mix changed.

Worth reading before September 30, when we take Sure Sort X apart on camera at In Focus and answer whatever you want to ask about it.

Read the coverage, then join us in two weeks.
