Memorial Scholarship Fund' Established July 2013.
Thank you, all of you - so very much for the many donations given. We can't express to you how much these donations mean to us. We receive on average, $2,000 to $2,500 per year in donated bottles and cans. We 'give' a $2,500 SCHOLARSHIP each year, to one or more students from our community's graduating 🎓 class.
This is desperately needed to help with many college needs for these young adults pushing forward in their education. Our daughter would be so proud and even overwhelmed by the thoughtfulness of a scholarship in her name, and how it helps with the furthering education of the young adults in the very community that she was born & raised in. Keeping Brooke’s name alive through this Scholarship is so healing to not only Brooke’s family & loved ones, but to this entire community who were all effected by her tragic death. After 10 years of a golf tournament each year for our daughter's scholarship - we have decided to no longer have it. The Scholarship Golf Tournament for this very special & very loved & missed young lady is done. This has been a beautiful thing and at the same time, very emotional. So now, returnables from here on out, that are donated, are so appreciated and much needed to keep this going for many years to come.
