We have been slowly increasing the amount of fulfillment clients we’ve been taking on. This is just one day’s worth. We’ve come a long way from just sending a couple items to our client’s customers.

An email to all clients.

Hello Everyone,



I hope that those affected by the snow & ice are fairing better then you did on the weekend.



A reminder that we were closed on Monday this week. Today we worked with a skeleton crew of those who were able to make it. As you all know, catching up can be a challenge all in itself, but I think we have made some good progress.



We have cleared all Fulfillment orders and are now up to date on fulfillments. All WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services) Shipments have been completed and are now up to date. FBA Shipments are almost caught up, we stopped on the Jan 23rd shipment requests. Overall, not bad for a skeleton crew. I like to have shipments around 48 hours shipped, but with the weather I don’t mind 72 hours.



USPS, Fedex and the truck delivery appoints did not show up today. For those of you with trucks coming, they have been rescheduled for the later part of the week. I’m hoping USPS and Fedex starts delivering tomorrow, but we will see. There is still a lot of places closed, so who knows when usps and Fedex will be back on their feet.



With the way things are going, WFS, FBA and fulfillment type shipments should be fine, but we will certainly have a backup when it comes to receiving. On a normal day, we have everything spread out, everyone comes daily, trucks come and go as planned…but incoming mail will most likely all drop on the same day. This causes a problem because we can only receive & prep so much in a day.



To combat this, I have authorized some overtime this weekend and next week for the team. Barring any other weather or issues, we should be back on track by the end of next week in all sectors of our operation.



We are doing the best we can to get caught up, I think we are doing a pretty good job so far. If you all have any questions feel free to let me know!

We’ve been in the logistics game for 8 years as of January this year. It hasn’t been a linear path. It’s been full of pitfalls, failed plans and wild growth inbetween. Employees have came, employees have gone and some are still with us years down the road. Regardless of how far we have come we still have the drive to strive for greatest with our services.
