AUTOMATED PALLET DISMANTLER & BUILDER PRODUCTION

JOB DESCRIPTION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
These positions require manual handling of pallets and lumber for the purpose of either dismantling or building pallets in order to meet customer specifications.
Automated equipment is used in these processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Lift and position pallets and /or lumber onto automated equipment and/or work areas.
2. Sort and place pallet or lumber by size, type and customer specification in machine.
3. Record production quantities.
4. Operate automated equipment safely and in compliance with manufacture and company guidelines.
5. Wear proper safety equipment such as boots, safety glasses, ear protection- Per CDC mouth and nose covering.
6. Ensure and maintain a work area that is accessible, clean and safe.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is in a covered setting, with mostly outdoor exposure during the workday. Required routinely to operate automated equipment such as a pallet dismantler and builder. Hand tools such as hammers and rules may be used as well.

While performing the duties of the job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, bend or crouch.
The team member must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
POSITION TYPE
This is a full-time position, day shift Monday through Friday.
