John Green Memorial Information:

There will be a memorial service at 11:30AM on Monday, January 6th in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church of Allen.

Allen, TX 75002

A celebration of life including food and refreshments will immediately follow the service in fellowship hall. This will be a time to share favorite stories, memories, and participate in a sing along - Banjo John style!

It is with saddened hearts that the John Green Family announces the passing of our beloved patriarch, John T. Green. John passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27th.

His life is an example of one well lived, and his impact immeasurable. He will always be remembered for his smile, laugh, and words of encouragement. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend. He loved good people and great horses, and loved well.

We are thankful for his legacy of love, kindness, and faith that continues to live on. He will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

Good ride, cowboy.

Drive on!

A celebration of life will be held January 6th in Allen, Texas. Details to follow.

The view of Norick arena from the Roadshow box for 50 years. What a blessing to have our family here every October since 1974! Thank you to all the people and horses who have made the show great for so many years. We are looking forward to next year kicking off a new era in the OG&E 🎉
