Mine System Solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Johanningsmeier as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 6th, 2025.
At Mine System Solutions, we believe that true customer service begins with the end in mind — delivering solutions that create long-term success for our partners in the mining industry. This philosophy will continue to guide us under Grant’s leadership.
Grant began his mining career at Alliance Resources, where he gained firsthand insight into customer expectations and the importance of the customer experience while completing his engineering degree at the University of Evansville. He later spent 14 years with Komatsu in roles spanning field service engineering, account management, product management, and business development. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for putting people and partnerships first, knowing that sustainable company growth is only possible when customer needs and market alignment drive the strategy.
We would also like to recognize Jonathan Beaven for his years of service and leadership as CEO. We are grateful for his continued role as President of MSS, where he will remain an integral part of guiding the company forward. Jonathan’s dedication and vision have built a strong foundation, and together with Grant’s leadership as CEO, MSS is well-positioned for its next chapter.
