K House & Son Lumber LLC K House & Son Lumber LLC is a local mill in the Tioga County area that buys standing timber, has rough cut lumber and sells ground and double ground mulch.

The House family started this family lumber business in 1942 with brothers Kenneth and Arnold partnering up to dive into the lumber business. Arnold decided to leave the business and at this time Harold joined his Father Kenneth in the business. Harold in 1968 took the business over as a sole proprietor and ran it up until 2011. After a couple years hiatus, his sons Ritchie and Kevin are now the

3rd generation of House's to take over the family business. Ritchie and Kevin have a combined total of 55 years in the lumber industry. We are looking forward to many more years in the business and hopeful for future generations to follow in the footsteps of our tradition.
