🍂🎶 It’s the Season of the Ticks... or whatever Noah Kahan keeps singing about in that one song.
The leaves are changing, the hoodies are coming out…and the ticks are still very much here, despite Noah saying "ending of August the bugs are just starting to die." He's a singer, not an Entomologist.
Cooler weather doesn’t automatically mean the end of mosquito, flea, and tick activity. That’s exactly why we continue treating through the end of our season.
A few things you can do this fall to make your yard less tick-friendly:
🍂 Clear heavy leaf litter
🌱 Keep grass & overgrowth trimmed
🌳 Clean up brush along wooded edges
🪵 Keep wood piles neat and away from gathering areas
🐾 Check pets (and yourself!) after spending time outside
And we’ll keep doing our part, too.
Happy Stick & Tick Season to all who celebrate! Have an unnecessarily flavored pumpkin beverage for us too!
