A few of our Beta students made a special delivery and spent their day volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Johnson City. Stacie Carter and her crew put them straight to work! They cleaned all public areas, did a little yard work, and even baked some brownies for the families that are staying there. We are grateful for the opportunity to help this organization that does so much for families whose children are hospitalized. It is our goal to continue the yearly donation of can tabs, which, by the way, are a higher-grade aluminum and bring a little more per pound when recycled, and volunteer our time. Our school-wide service project of collecting can tabs resulted in 16 gallons of tabs. Our Beta students also brought in two boxes of arts and craft supplies for the kids to use.

Algunos de nuestros estudiantes de Beta hicieron una entrega especial y pasaron el día como voluntarios en la Casa Ronald McDonald en Johnson City. ¡Stacie Carter y su equipo los pusieron a trabajar de inmediato! Limpiaron todas las áreas comunes, hicieron un poco de jardinería e incluso hornearon brownies para las familias que se hospedan allí. Estamos agradecidos por la oportunidad de ayudar a esta organización que hace tanto por las familias cuyos hijos están hospitalizados. Nuestro objetivo es continuar con la donación anual de anillas de latas, que, por cierto, son de aluminio de mayor calidad y rinden un poco más por libra al reciclarse, y ofrecer nuestro tiempo como voluntarios. Nuestro proyecto de servicio escolar de recolección de anillas de latas resultó en 16 galones de anillas. Nuestros estudiantes de Beta también trajeron dos cajas de materiales de arte y manualidades para que los niños los usen. ¡Vamos Vikings! ¡Vikings Serve!
