Hello everyone! I hope you're enjoying the wonderful fall weather that's upon us. I hope each one of you have been staying safe and healthy.

The end of the year us approaching fast. All bank, credit card and loan accounts need to be reconciled. Payroll taxes need to be reconciled and paid in full. Financials need to be shared with your CPA before December to make the necessary changes for year end.

The staff of The Nuts and Bolts of Bookkeeping are available to help you with your year end tasks and will have it all ready before tax filing ends on April 15, 2020. Give us a call or email and let's close 2020 and get ready for a better 2021.

For alll the independent contractors and self-employed please take note that this Friday April 24,2020 you can file for Federal Unemployment through NC DES. Please set up your account as soon as possible so you can file for the days out of work since the "Stay at Home" order. I hope everyone is surviving the "Stay at Home" Order. We hopefully will be in the clear in the next few weeks. Then its back to the real world. Tax Time has been extended to July 15, 2020 so utilize the next few weeks and get your tax records together and over to the CPA to process your 2019 tax returns. If you need some assistance in preparing your receipts and tax items for the tax return, please shoot me an email at [email protected] and I will help you through the process.
