Help is hard to find these days, so we went ahead and locked in our newest employee a little early!

Introducing Lincoln John Murdock. The newest member of the Bug N Blade crew!

He’s not quite ready to run a mower yet, but give him a few years.

Welcome to the crew, little man!

🇺🇸 Freedom looks better with fresh stripes. 🇺🇸

We may not be able to put the stars in your yard… but we’ve gotten pretty good at laying down the stripes. 😉

We’ve been a little quiet on Facebook lately but that’s only because we’ve been busy turning yards into something we’re proud to put our name on. When you’re out working, the pictures tend to pile up.

We believe clean stripes, sharp edges, and attention to detail aren’t extra they’re the standard. We treat every property like it’s our own, because good enough has never really been our style.

As we celebrate our nation’s independence, we’d like to thank our amazing customers for trusting a local small business and extend our gratitude to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

From all of us at Bug N Blade LLC, we hope you have a safe, blessed, and Happy Fourth of July!

God Bless America! 🇺🇸

First batch of Green Giants has officially landed

We’re starting to branch out a little and add privacy trees to the lineup. A few of these are already spoken for, but we do have some available.

Can also install locally if needed.

For anyone unfamiliar with them, Green Giants are fast-growing privacy trees that stay green year-round. Once established, they can grow several feet per year and commonly reach around 25–30 feet tall locally, making them great for privacy lines and property borders.

Excited to see where this new venture goes. What other kinds of trees or plants would y’all like to see us start carrying?

Everybody this time of year wants to get crazy with w**d killer and spray everything down to bare dirt… especially around ponds and drainage ditches.

The problem is, that vegetation is what helps hold soil together, reduce erosion, filter runoff, and protect the environment. Once it’s gone, heavy rains can quickly wash banks away and cause muddy water, erosion, and long-term damage.

We highly recommend being cautious around these sensitive areas and using responsible vegetation management practices instead of just killing everything off.

Sometimes “clean” isn’t always better.

We believe in protecting properties the right way not just the fastest way.

We’ve been in a dry spell lately… honestly most folks haven’t even had to cut their grass much yet this year.

Got everybody thinking lawn care ain’t needed right now 😂

But give it a couple good rains and you already know what’s coming… everything’s gonna take off all at once.

If your yard got skipped this spring or didn’t get cleaned up, now’s a good time to get ahead of it before it turns into a headache.

Lawn maintenance, cleanups, w**d control, fire ants, fleas and ticks. I’ve got you covered. Just give me a call and I can get you in the schedule. Thank you!
