I needed to re-zero my Thermal sight after replacing a gas bushing on that rifle. I figured while I was at it I would check the zero on the PTR. I think we're good!

I had a hilarious revelation a couple days ago. I figured out why "average people" are panicking so much over this virus. Unlike Combat Veterans they have never spent years of their life where they woke up and had the thought "Yep.......I could easily die today. I could eat an IED, Sniper fire on a venue, get in a firefight on today's mission. Any number of things really"
I still remember my second day in the Green Zone in 2005. I was sound asleep just after 6 AM in my little room when there was a THUNDEROUS explosion. I didn't sit up......I just opened my eyes and surveyed the walls and ceiling of my room. No holes. Hmmmm........I guess I'll go back to sleep. Then my radio crackled to life. My entire team was reporting in with "Up" to signify that they were fine. So I grabbed the radio and keyed it........."Fowler Up."
With that.........it was time to hit the shower and go see about some breakfast. Turns out a good size rocket had hit the already bombed out building building next door. About 200 yards or less from my room. IIRC it was the same building that Saddam's trial was held in years later. Could be wrong but I remember going over to look at it. The damage from the bombs we dropped during the invasion was amazing. A JDAM had come straight down through the domed roof and through 3 floors of solid concrete.

A friend started a coin post. I have collected a few over the years. These span my career as a gun slinger from 1995 to around 2011 or 2012. I have several more but these 3 were easy access.

Did you ever stop and think for a second that MAYBE all the media hype of corona virus is because deep in the CDC, CIA, and the Pentagon they already have PROOF that the virus was manufactured by China as a Bioweapon. They just don't want that to become public knowledge because they don't want to start flinging nukes over it? Kinda like after 9/11 the anthrax attacks just kinda were forgotten about.........
