Moscow Volunteer Rural Fire District The area is made up of residential, timber, and farm ground. We respond to various vehicle fires and accidents.

The MVRFD is 100% volunteer with 22 members and provides emergency fire services for approximately 124 square miles in Latah County outside the city limits of Moscow Idaho. urrent members we pride ourselves on providing the best and most professional fire protection services possible. Also residential structure fires, farm implement fires, and wildland fires. We work together with our mutual aid partners on large scale forest fires and other mutual aid events.
