FROM THE SISTERS, OR RODEO:
We brag a lot about the guys in the arena that you see working hard from JJ Harrison our iconic barrel man to our pickup men Jacob Stacy & Mitch Coleman, and our announcer Wayne Brooks, BUT we'd be remiss if we didn't brag about a big force behind the scenes; Edie Longfellow, our rodeo secretary.

A PRCA Rodeo Secretary since 1967, she started at the Sisters Rodeo when we rejoined the PRCA around 1989. She has been nominated SIXTEEN TIMES for PRCA Secretary of the Year, FIVE times for the Donita Barnes Contract Personnel Award, was the Lewiston Round Up Grand Marshall in 2019 and inducted into the Idaho Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2019 as well.

In January 2023, she will celebrate 58 years of marriage to her husband, Clyde! (Happy Anniversary Clyde & Edie!)

What's the secret to this iconic success in the rodeo administration? A wealth of knowledge, a GREAT sense of humor, the ability to share rodeo stories with the best of them and a consistent diet of Diet Pepsi, Red Vines and BEEF!

Plans are being made to create another meeting for committees, contract personnel, contestants and contractors to share rodeo information. We all want to make the sport of rodeo more successful as well as easier with shortcuts and ideas that have been created.
