What a great night at the fire station! Thank you to all who attended and congratulations to all our winners. We love opening up our house to host Bingo, but more than that we love getting to laugh and to have fun with so many community members. And thank you Mossyrock Firefighter Association all you do to support this district. If you didn't make it tonight, we sure hope you come next time.

We are excited to open our doors Saturday Sept. 19th for Mossyrock Firefighter Association to have Bingo Night at the station! Come, tell your friends. Bring your friends. What could be better than bingo games, special prize basket games, yummy concessions and hanging out with friends at the fire station. Doors open at 6pm. Events like these help MFFA pay for other community events.

With a few more volunteers getting ready to start Fire Academy training (FF1) soon, and our bi-monthly in-house fire training we continue to work hard to be as ready as needed for this community. We couldn't do this without our dedicated volunteers and the district residents that support us.

With the wildland fires in Washington State and surrounding areas we are experiencing unhealthy air quality for sensitive groups. Some common complaints are scratchy throat, headache, irritated eyes. Please watch out for those with asthma, and other breathing (heart/lung) issues. Some other things to think about:

Check real-time updates at: https://airqualitymap.ecology.wa.gov/

Postpone outdoor workouts or heavy physical activities.

Set your air conditioner to recirculate instead of drawing fresh outdoor air.

Avoid adding indoor pollutants like smoking, gas stoves, frying food, candles or vacuuming.

Consider using a properly fitted N95 respirator mask to block microscopic debris and smoke if you go outdoors.
