Terms and Conditions for Blind Date with a Book Orders
Welcome! By placing an order for a Blind Date with a Book, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our customers.
1. General Information
Each Blind Date with a Book package includes a hand-selected book wrapped to preserve the mystery, along with any additional goodies specified in the product description.
Books are chosen based on the preferences provided by the customer, including genre, format (hardcover or paperback), and any other relevant details shared during the order process.
All sales are subject to these terms and conditions, which may be updated periodically. The most current version will always be pinned to the top of this page or provided upon request.
2. Customer Preferences
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate and detailed preferences to ensure the best match.
If the customer provides their Goodreads account or a list of previously read books, we will make every effort to avoid duplicate selections. However, mistakes may occasionally occur despite our best efforts.
3. Book Exchange Policy
We want you to love your Blind Date with a Book! If you are not satisfied with your selection, we offer the following exchange policy:
Number of Exchanges: You are entitled one (1) book exchange per order, free of charge.
Conditions for Exchange:
The book must be returned in the same condition as it was received (unread and undamaged).
The customer is responsible for shipping the book back to us (If applicable).
Exchange Process:
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your book to initiate an exchange.
Once we receive the returned book, we will provide a replacement within 3 business days.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are not offered for Blind Date with a Book purchases due to the personalized nature of the service.
In rare cases where we cannot fulfill an exchange due to stock limitations, we may issue store credit or an equivalent replacement.
5. Pickup/Delivery
Orders are processed within 3-4 business days after receiving payment and complete preference information.
6. Customization and Add-Ons
Custom requests, such as including specific non-book items or themed packaging, may incur additional charges. Please contact us for details.
7. Disclaimer
Blind Date with a Book is designed to introduce customers to new reading experiences. While I strive to meet your preferences, I cannot guarantee a "perfect" match.
Books are selected from a curated inventory, which may include new, gently used, or vintage editions.
All sales are final except as provided in the exchange policy.
