Pest Shield is receiving a lot of calls for Wasps, etc. Please know most activity is the female wasp searching for nesting sites, and any "established new nests", if any, are mostly single female wasps, as seen. The larger nest in photo is old, inactive, and the paper wasp will not re-use it. So please know, you do not have some huge nest this time of year! Guess who’s back, back again!

A common misconception about Odorous House Ants (Tapinoma sessile) is that they reside in our homes, when in actuality they are a social insect who forages for food day or night, traveling back and forth from the foraging site to the main colony (as visualized in the video above.)
