Also, the front end got a makeover with new emblems and chrome bumper.

Fun-filled day of straightening the bottom of my tailgate. Had a bow across the lower half (most likely a heavy object sliding in bed and slamming into inner tailgate). Had to get creative and use my car hauler to hold it in place while using the winch to pull the long crossbar I welded to the inner bottom structure. Took some work, but it’s straight! 🤓📏📐⚒️

Bed is in primer. Now the mud work starts. 🙂

Had to weld a piece of all thread across the 3 middle raise areas and pull with a ratchet strap, while whacking from inside of cab with a large rubber mallet. But, she’s good to go for filler.

More metal work. Looks like they shot the back of the cab with birdshot 😆, and still didn’t get the dent pulled correctl...
