Last night's 3.1 inches of snow made the 2013/2014 season the snowiest season on record in Detroit, with a total of 94.8 inches!

Our average snowfall for the entire season is 42.5 inches. Until now, the snowiest season dated back to 1880/1881 with a total of 93.6 inches.
