Heads Up! If you have an account at Bank of America using their "online" or "mobile" services (banking via your cell phone, for example): BofA changed their rules May 18, 2026. This is a BIG change, that you can opt out of but only if you know to ask. If you stay quiet, you surrender your right to sue, including your chance to join in on class actions.

Effective May 18, Bank of America says a new arbitration provision in its Online Banking Service Agreement will go into effect. The clause, applicable to many customers with personal banking accounts, governs how future disputes will be resolved.
