🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from Eastside Volunteer Fire Department! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate our nation’s independence this coming weekend with family, friends, cookouts, and fireworks, Eastside VFD wants to remind everyone to make safety your top priority.

🎆 If you’re using fireworks, always follow local laws, keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby, never allow young children to handle fireworks, and never relight a firework that doesn’t go off.

🔥 When grilling, keep your grill away from homes, decks, and anything flammable. Never leave a grill unattended while it’s in use.

🚗 If you’re traveling, buckle up, avoid distractions, and never drive under the influence. Plan ahead and designate a sober driver if you’re celebrating with alcohol.

❤️ We hope everyone has a fun, memorable, and safe Independence Day. If an emergency does happen, remember that your Eastside Volunteer Fire Department is always here to serve our community.

We’re incredibly thankful to and for their generous donation of emergency drinking water to support our department. This contribution will help keep our firefighters hydrated, healthy, and mission-ready as they respond to , extended emergency incidents, training events, and other demanding operations throughout our community.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to R&K Distributors Inc. for delivering the water directly to our station. Partnerships like these make a real difference by ensuring our crews have the resources they need to safely serve and protect our community.
