Guess what tomorrow is??? Paint the Town Pink! The shirts are folded and ready. The raffle items have started showing up. Claudette is exhausted, so it must be true that tomorrow is October. This year we have short & long sleeve shirts, hoodies & sweatshirts. I will be posting daily so keep checking and come see us. 401 W. Main. Look for the big red trucks.

Eastside VFD will be having our fish fry fundraiser and auction on October 24th this year. Like every year we have 2 separate raffles. The normal raffle with five chances to win at 10 dollars a ticket. And the cup raffle or gun raffle. When you purchase a cup for 35 dollars there are 2 tickets in each cup. one ticket is for the normal raffle and the other ticket is 3 chances to win a gun. If you would like to purchase a ticket get with one of our members or IM us and we will get them to u there are only 160 cups available.

🐟 It’s almost that time of year, folks! 🐟

The annual Eastside VFD Fish Fry Fundraiser is right around the corner! We’re getting things ready for another great year of good food, good people, and a whole lot of fun.

Come out, grab a plate, support your local volunteer firefighters, and enjoy the day with us! We’ll have food, raffles, and plenty of chances to win some great prizes.

Eastside volunteer fire department would like to give a huge SHOUT OUT TO: Wayne Griffith's Towing, Waskom Water Department. Alberts Wrecker Service, RCESD #1, Minden Brachfield Water Department, and Jeff Shiro Harman for the contributions on our latest project that's been in the works for about 6 months. This project is not yet completed yet but we wanted to let your community know why this 15,000 gallon tank is now sitting by the station. This tank will be a water storage tank to help fill our trucks faster.

PAINT THE TOWN PINK | Each October pink ribbons bloom across Henderson to raise awareness for survivors of all cancers.

By purchasing branded gear or raffle tickets and eating with our restaurant partners, you support the Henderson Fire Department Cancer Fund. Money raised during 'Paint The Town Pink' goes directly to Cancer Survivors in our community.

Today, members of Eastside VFD had the honor of participating in the 9/11 Memorial Walk alongside many fellow fire departments, first responders, and members of our community.

We walked to remember the 343 firefighters, the first responders, and every innocent life lost on September 11, 2001. We walked in honor of their courage, their bravery, and the ultimate sacrifice they made while answering the call to help others.

Though 25 years have passed, their sacrifice will never be forgotten. We are proud to stand alongside our brothers and sisters in the fire service and our community to keep their memory alive.

We walk because they can’t.

The 9/11 Memorial Walk is coming up this Saturday, September 12!
