The co**se flower is considered "vulnerable" when it comes to its conservation status. A vulnerable species is considered as such because it's likely to become endangered unless the circumstances threatening its survival and reproduction improve. Vulnerability is mainly caused by habitat loss or destruction. There are currently 4,914 plants classified as vulnerable, compared to 2,815 in 1998.

Death Valley soars to 130 degrees, potentially Earth’s highest temperature since at least 1931. In the midst of a historic heat wave in the West, the mercury in Death Valley, Calif., surged to a searing 130 degrees on Sunday afternoon, possibly setting a world record for the highest temperature ever observed during the month of August.

A temperature of 56.7 degrees Celsius (134 degrees Fahrenheit) was recorded in Death Valley in July 1913.

What does this program do?

The electric program makes insured loans and loan guarantees to nonprofit and cooperative associations, public bodies, and other utilities. Insured loans primarily finance the construction of electric distribution facilities in rural areas. The guaranteed loan program has been expanded and is now available to finance generation, transmission, and distribution facilities. The loans and loan guarantees finance the construction of electric distribution, transmission, and generation facilities, including system improvements and replacement required to furnish and improve electric service in rural areas, as well as demand side management, energy conservation programs, and on-grid and off-grid renewable energy systems.

Joy & Ray Costello Here is my full bill with solar In May, I produced 1,200 kWh and consumed 504. kWh. This month I was able to produce over 1.2 Megawatts. Wow, that is super, wicked awesome!!! Call me the Megawatt guy!!! In all seriousness though, during the Spring and Summer months we have more Sun hours which means my house will produce more therefore I am receiving some credits and a complete wipe out of my Atlantic City Electric bill.

My average with ACE even in the Summer Months is around 1200 kWh. I've never gone over this so, I'm super pumped to see every bill. I'm sure thats probably a first for many, personally we are excited to see a new bill.

If your still with me, here is my point in all this. Solar is smart financing. I was paying on average $480 a month to Atlantic City Electric. We have 1,700 kilowatts banked and Atlantic City Electric owes us $65.39 this month for my solar generation. Here is the big difference, the money I put into solar I can re-coop most of it back when I sell my home. The $480 was like throwing money out my car window never to get back.

It's also great for the environment (I might be the only one in Ventnor that did it for the environment).
