On Tuesday 8/4 361 & 362 B Platoon along with Battalion 3603 (A/BC Jenkins) were dispatched to Route 295 South for a vehicle fire. Quint 3614 and the Battalion arrived to find a vehicle in the left travel lane well involved. Q3614'S crew stretched a line and extinguished the fire. The scene was turned over to NJSP with no reported injuries.

History is a major part of the fire service, and those who have walked the halls of our stations have played an important role in shaping the department we are today.

Mount Laurel Fire Department headquarters proudly displays custom artwork from Joseph Getsinger Art Studio, honoring the names of those who came before us and those who continue to carry the torch today.

We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to Joe Getsinger for helping preserve the legacy of our members. Yesterday, he visited Headquarters with new prints to be added to our walls as we continue to grow our ranks and build upon the proud traditions of our department.

FIREFIGHTER EXAM ANNOUNCEMENT

The New Jersey Civil Service Commission has announced the 2026 Entry-Level Firefighter Exam on July 1, 2026, and applications will be accepted until 4:00PM on August 31, 2026.

Written testing will take place in December 2026 and January 2027.
