On Friday, May 22, 2026, at approximately 12:50 PM, Task Force 3612, along with our designated mutual aid partners, was dispatched to the 200 block of Willow Turn for a reported structure fire.
Quint 3614 was the first apparatus to arrive on the scene. Upon arrival, the crew encountered a well-involved fire with visible flames breaking through the roof of the structure.
Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack, deploying multiple handlines to the interior of the building. Due to the heavy fire involvement in the roof and attic area, aerial master streams were placed into service to provide high-volume water application and to contain the fire's spread.
Mutual aid companies worked in coordination with Mount Laurel units to secure a consistent water supply and perform necessary ventilation and search operations.
The fire was successfully placed under control approximately one hour after the initial dispatch.
Following the knockdown, crews transitioned to overhaul operations to identify and extinguish any remaining hotspots within the structure.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
