Summer Walker is fighting LVRN — the label and management company that originally signed her — over money, control, and her agreement with them.

At the same time, she’s also in a separate fight with Interscope over her recording contract.

That’s the part fans don’t always see.

The streams can be huge.
The tours can be successful.
The artist can look like they’re winning.

And they can still be fighting behind the scenes over money and control.

Success and ownership are not the same thing.

Takeoff’s father is reportedly asking for half of the wrongful-death settlement tied to his death.

The issue is his mother says he was largely absent while Takeoff was growing up and provided little financial or emotional support.

So forget the legal side for a second.

Morally — if you weren’t really there as a parent, should you still be entitled to the same money as the parent who was?

I think being a parent is about more than biology.

WHAT SHE SAYS THE MONEY WOULD COVER

Diamond's proposed monthly expenses reportedly include approximately:

$15,000 for housing/rent

$2,250 for food

$3,500 for childcare

$2,000 for college savings

$2,000 for gifts

$1,500 for art and sports lessons

$500 for Lovely's clothing

$350 for haircuts

She also wants Chris to cover school, medical and extracurricular expenses.
