What are Leading Indicators and why are they important?

To summarize: Leading Indicators are proactive, preventative and predictive measures for your safety and health activities.

This is important because:
🔎Reveals potential problems in your safety and health programs.
⚖️Measures occurrences and frequency of past events (rate of injuries, illness, and fatalities).
⚠️Allows you to address failures or hazards before they become a problem.
