On Saturday, November 1st we traveled to Greensburg, PA and presented our Recognizing and Managing Risk Behavior course to the Safety and Security team of Word of Life Church. Joined by several other neighboring Church Safety teams, training topics included deescalation considerations, effective communication, understanding aggression vs. violence, behavioral indicators of impending violent attack, defensive tactics considerations, policy and protocol, and understanding Pennsylvania law regarding security and protection. We were excited to see the outstanding turnout of volunteers who are willing to protect and serve their Church body and keep them safe. It was a great training and we look forward to doing it again. Thank you for having us!
