If you or your team represent what collegiate rodeo is really about through leadership, character, and integrity inside and outside of the arena, this is your chance to be recognized. One athlete and one collegiate rodeo team will each win a Smarty Rodeo sled of their choice or a $2,500 credit toward a Smarty Rodeo Bulldogger, Horse, or Bronc machine.

This award is not about who wins the most buckles. It is about the people making an impact on their teammates, programs, and the future of rodeo.

The 2026 Smarty Rodeo Young Pro Camp is officially underway. Tonight, we kicked things off with our back number ceremony, and tomorrow morning the work begins.

Camp starts bright and early with workouts and classroom sessions before we head to the arena for calf roping, goat tying, and team roping. We’re excited for a week of growth, hard work, fellowship, and investing in the next generation of champions.

For the second year, we’re proud to present the 2026 Smarty Rodeo Goat Tying Showcase at the PWR Championship. The top 20 goat tyers from the segment leaderboard have earned their spot, and we can’t wait to watch some of the best compete for a custom Smarty Rodeo Horse.

Good luck to all the competitors, we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!

Smarty Rodeo is proud to launch the 2026 CNFR Sportsmanship Awards, recognizing one athlete and one collegiate rodeo team who represent the best of our sport through leadership, integrity, respect, and character.

These awards are open to CNFR athletes and collegiate teams competing in any NIRA region. Applicants will submit:
▪️ An application
▪️ A social media video
▪️ Letters of recommendation for the Athlete Award

The winning athlete and team will each receive their choice of a Smarty Rodeo sled or a $2,500 credit toward a Smarty Rodeo Bulldogger, Horse, or Bronc machine.

One of the things we love most about collegiate rodeo is the culture behind it. Teammates pushing each other to be better. Coaches creating leaders. Athletes showing up with humility, work ethic, and respect for the people around them. That’s what sportsmanship is all about!

This week, the best in women’s rodeo are headed to the Premier Women’s Rodeo Championship in Fort Worth. From rising stars to seasoned champions, these athletes have earned their place on one of rodeo’s biggest stages, competing for a record-setting $800K+ payout at the richest women’s-only rodeo in the world. We’re honored that Smarty Rodeo had the opportunity to provide the championship saddles that will be presented on Friday night.

We can’t wait to follow along with the action all week!
