Many may recall the story of Chicken Little, but most of the time, the sky is NOT falling when it comes to mold🦠!

This client we helped yesterday had 2 other remediation contractors out before us, one wanted to "Fog" the entire home as the mold was severe & the other wanted to completely demo the entire bathroom! As we take a more level headed approach and work to diagnose the issue, rather than go to the extreme or spray and pray, we found it all can be cured for less than $1000.

💦No moisture in the walls, tub, floor or attic above
🌬 Poor drafting fan, needs upgrade
⚒ Minor drywall repair
👨‍🔧Paint walls with mold inhibiting primer and good top coat

Dear Contractor,

If you would be so kind so as to not use particle board/MDF as the underlayment in bathrooms for what was also 3 layers of old vinyl on top of the plywood subfloor, us remediators would be most appreciative. Oh and choose a fastener, either nails or staples no need for both in a 25 sq foot half bath. No wonder the floor was holding water and mold was coming up the walls and vanity. Thank you.
