Last call! WDFW reminds crabbers have until today (Thursday, Oct. 1) to submit summer Puget Sound Dungeness crab paper or electronic catch record card (CRC/eCRC).

Reports need to be submitted by Oct. 1 whether crab were retained or not. If mobile licensing customers reported their catch directly to the MyWDFW mobile application while in the field throughout the season, they’ve already fulfilled their summer crab reporting requirements. Crabbers who don’t submit their report will be assessed a $10 non-reporting penalty when purchasing a 2027 Puget Sound crab endorsement.

For additional information, refer to our news release at https://wdfw.wa.gov/newsroom/news-release/time-report-summer-crab-catch-recreational-crab-fishing-closing-soon-much-puget-sound-0. For winter Puget Sound crab fishing seasons, refer to our news release at https://wdfw.wa.gov/newsroom/news-release/winter-crabbing-season-opens-oct-1-several-puget-sound-marine-areas-3.
