We had an oversized load get high centered when he pulled off the main road onto the job site road in Centralia today. The semi was hauling a part of a natural gas substation plant that is being built.We picked it up, set it back in the middle of the driveway and he was on his way..

At around 4 o’clock this morning, we responded to a Motorcycle v/s Deer accident on South 42nd St. in front of Caliber Collision. The owner called this morning and asked if we had any pictures of his bike and said that he was going to be OK that he had a broken collarbone and a knee injury but was going to be OK.🙏🏻🙏🏻

So while I’m pulling Mrs. April out of the ditch my kids Damon , Chase , Zander and Luke are at the shop doing a load shift on a load of culverts. Apparently yesterday the driver had another towing company come out to try to fix the load shift while he was on the side of the interstate and from the looks of it, the load shifted after the top bundle was put back on. The boys unloaded, reloaded and sent him on his way.
He spoke highly of the kids and how good of a job they did.

A lil Sunday drive

Today as we were leaving church and headed grab something to eat, the phone rings and it’s a lady named Mrs. April she had taken a wrong turn in Ina Illinois and ended up on some back roads and cut a corner a little short. She asked us if we could expedite because there was a “creeper in a van that was trying to pressure her into calling “Rick’s” 😳
Well, we got there and the guy in the van disappeared, but we got Mrs. April on her way and she was happy to be back on the road.

This thing was a beast. 120,000 pound bucket truck that lost its Driveshaft and took out both air tanks so all the brakes had to be caged. After the customer making calls to other towing companies and being turned down because the unit was so heavy they gave us a call and we made it happen. This is what the biggest tow truck in Jefferson County looks like.😂😂😂 twinsteerrotator

Today are we were in Wayne County with a drilling rig that was stuck in a drainage ditch between two cornfields a mile from the closest hard road. On top of being stuck, the machine also rolled the rubber track off track . We got him pulled out onto flat ground, track back on and on his way .

Tuesday we got a call from a local company owner to go out and recover his loaded truck and dump trailer that had left the roadway on I 64 at the 85 mile marker. The trailer overturned and luckily the tractor stayed upright and the driver was ok. The shredded scrap iron was cleaned up reloaded at the top of the steep ravine. A big thank you to our customer and also our crew that goes the extra mile to do a great job!

Yesterday a local Farmer called and had a loaded silage wagon that became unhooked from the tractor on a county road with about a 4 ditch and overturned. We went out and uprighted the unit without any further damage.
