Last Saturday was our first Photonutz outing. 5 people showed up and went out and about town taking photographs for just over an hour. When they returned, they shared the photos they took, encouragement, and gentle critiques.

Here is the assignment for next meetup on Saturday, Oct 24th, 12-3 pm. Bring one of each 1) photo of stillness 2) photo of movement 3) photo of repetition 4) photo of texture 5) photo of your most favorite color 6) photo of your least favorite color

These gatherings are for the local photographic community; to improve skills, sharpen the eye, and to motivate - to get out and go shoot. We will be working towards a public exhibit towards the end of the year. These are open events and are no charge. Please come, bring your camera and a friend. Loaner cameras are available if needed.

Diana's Acrylic Fall Scene class was much enjoyed everyone who participated. She really does a good job breaking down the process to make excellent results obtainable for those with little to no painting experience. A week from now, she has another workshop scheduled Friday, Oct 16th from 6 - 8, where we'll be painting pumpkins. There are still spots available. A signup link can be found on www.theGalleryOnGambier.com. Also, Happy Street Brü-Werks is just down the hallway and you can bring your beverage to class.

That's a very handsome frame on that beautiful painting! It's an honor to be a part of the process.

Many thanks to Kurt Wendling at The Gallery on Gambier for this beautiful frame. It's prettier than I imagined.
