Just because a built-in has doors doesn’t mean the space behind them shouldn’t be functional!

For this playroom, we organized the books and toys into simple, kid-friendly categories and made sure everything was easy to see. We used felt bins on the bottom shelves, which are easy for little hands to pull out and put away safely!

And of course, we have a little fun while we work. 😂

Pantry organization, from start to finish.

Here’s a little behind the scenes reminder of what the organizing process actually looks like:

Everything comes out first. We take the opportunity to declutter expired and unused items, group like with like, and create categories that make sense for how your family lives.

Then everything goes back in with intention. For this pantry, we used a lot of product our client already had and added a few pieces where they would make a real difference, like cereal dispensers to give their toddler more independence at snack and breakfast time.

The goal isn’t to buy all new products or make your pantry look pretty for the sake of pretty. It’s to create a system that is functional and sustainable for your family to maintain. 🫶🏼

We decluttered, tightened up categories, and reworked the layout to make everything more functional and easy to maintain. The result is a pantry that feels as pretty as it is practical!
