Its been quiet here lately. Besides the crazy guy running around RRF, and some idiots lighting fires, our town has been pretty normal.

I dont allow businesses or spamming on this page.

It’s for our community to send out information in realtime.

Crime, Fire, Medical, Ems., Emergency help.

No lost pets, sharing of business posts. Strictly Neighborhood Watch content.

The main FB pages for this are flooded with members. I have a strict policy for adding new people. I try to keep only real folks that actually have homes here.

I do constantly go through and remove people that get through, but they are few and far between.

This group was created for mail theft, graduated to crime, now its a base platform for the communty to commincate without 700 ads, or having to filter through hundreds of posts.

I thank you all that stay informed and help protect our area. Hats off to you!

Ok holidays are approaching and mail and package theft are rising. Remember to….

Pick up your mail from the mailbox before dark.

Pickup any signs that your gone or going to be gone. (pile of mail in mailbox, packages at gates things like this)

If you’re going away, arrange for a friend or neighbor to check on your place.

If you see anything suspicious. REPORT to sheriff. They do “hotspot” policing. Meaning they will only show if they get calls on the event. So please help everyone out and report to law enforcement.

Watch out for each other. I can see my neighbors houses from my place pretty easy. If anything is outta the ordinary, I’ll give them a call, or walk over just to be sure. Not that anything HAS happened, but I still stay on the watch.

Holidays coming up people traveling. The crooks and the creeps know this. Remember these few things.

Don’t leave your garbage cans out.
Pickup your mail.
Use timers to turn lams and lights on at different times to make it look like someone is home.
Have a friend or family member watch your house.
Set your home alarm
Of course make sure your valuables are put away and doors and cars are locked!

We will also have the original sign up sheets for new people to sign. The point of the sheets is to (once we get enough info) connect neighbors in the same proximity of each other. The info is safe and guarded by another admin. Hopefully you’ll get to see your regular friends and meet a few more that you don’t know that are close. The more people we know that are close to us, the tighter the gaps are for crime. 🤙🤙🤙

Just FYI there are numerous Neighborhood watch meetings going on. I invite you to attend any and all. The more the merrier. I feel the more energy spent by us all will shift attention to keeping our neighborhoods safe. Stay vigilant! 👍👍👍
