We just wrapped CDA Anaheim 2026 and what the dental world told us blew our minds.
CDA brought the dental world to Anaheim May 14-16, and the city felt it. Signage lined Katella Ave under the palm trees; the convention center buzzed all three days; and on Thursday evening the CDA crowd took over California Adventure Park.
That's not a conference - that's a movement.
Over 18,000 dental professionals and 450+ exhibitors filled the halls.
Edge showed up with a mission - to meet the dental community where they are, and have honest conversations about how practices can run better. We engaged with hundreds of dentists, office managers, DSO operators and Edge's partners, across all three days.
And here's what we heard: the conversation has completely shifted.
Two years ago, we'd spend the first five minutes convincing dentists that a remote employee was even a real option. This week? Almost nobody asked "why would I work with someone remote?" They were asking "in what ways can my remote employee help me?"
That's a seismic shift.
When we walked them through all four areas Edge talent can own - scheduling, insurance verifications, billing & collections, and patient recall - at a fraction of the cost of a local hire, something lit up in their eyes.
It lit up in ours too.
Because what we provide is not just talent. It's the complete workforce-as-a-service solution that dental practices have been missing: a competent employee backed by a trustworthy system - one where Edge handles talent quality, data security, and all the heavy-lifting behind the scenes, so dentists can focus on what they do best: practicing dentistry.
That's not just about profits. That's meaningful.
If you were at CDA and we didn't connect - let's fix that.
What would you want a trusted remote team member handling first in your practice?
