This weekend was one I’ll never forget.
Watching my son graduate from the University of Colorado was emotional in a way that’s hard to put into words. Not just because of the degree, but because of everything it took to get there.
As a parent, we set goals, make sacrifices, provide guidance, and hope our children take advantage of the opportunities placed in front of them. There are no guarantees. You do the best you can, try to lead by example, and trust that one day it all clicks.
I’m incredibly grateful that I was able to give Nick the opportunity to attend a great school and pursue his path. But what makes me even more proud is that he truly capitalized on it. He worked hard, stayed focused, and earned this achievement.
Seeing him walk across that stage reminded me that success is not only about financial achievement. It’s about helping guide someone you love toward becoming capable, independent, and ready for the next chapter of life.
