Auction is Second Saturday of Each Month - Rain or Shine
911 Address -
112322 S 4690 Road
Muldrow, OK 74948
(We are located in Gans, Ok)
This is for the new folks - we’ve been getting a lot lately…
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I GET THERE?
If it’s your first time with us, you need to stop at the Office located in the front corner of the auction barn.
The Sales Office opens at 8 am on Saturday (Barn Opens at 7 am)
Here you will register for a bidder number which will identify you to the auctioneer when you buy.
You will need some form of ID to get your bidder number, your mailing address and phone number. This will be your permanent number. If you have a farm tax permit or sales tax permit please provide copy to office.
HOW DO I BID?
If you want to bid, just wave your hand when the auctioneer calls a price. This is your bid.
Several people may bid on the same item/animal.
When this happens, the auctioneer will call a higher price and give each bidder a chance at the increased price.
As the bids go higher, fewer people bid. The person with the last bid purchases the item/animal at the price called by the auctioneer.
Have your buyer number ready to show the auctioneer.
WHO CAN BID?
Anyone can bid, as long as you have registered at the Office and have a buyer number.
HOW DOES D&D AUCTION WORK?
We start outside of barn at 10 am with Poultry related items and then move inside with eggs, chick and caged animals.
Animals are sold by the head.
Example:
10 chicks X 3.00 each = 30.00
If they place a cage of grown birds on the table to be auctioned off, they are selling by the head.
Equipment/Misc will start at 12 pm and goes at same time Poultry Sale is going.
You may take your winning items (not livestock) to your vehicle as you acquire them.
We are not responsible for theft.
Livestock starts at 6 pm. Order is Horses, Cattle, Hogs, Sheep/Goats
Again, animals are sold by the head.
If you need assistance, please ask the auctioneer or the ladies in the office.
WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
Check out at the Office before you leave the Sale Barn.
You need to pay for your purchase BEFORE you leave the Sale Barn by cash or check. Any out of area checks must be pre-approved by owner.
Picking up animal - get in line at the poultry or livestock unload/load area. Provide your paid receipt or load out sheet to the D&D Staff for them to assist loading animals.
WHAT IF I AM SELLING?
Please provide name, address and phone number when consigning items. If address or phone changes update in the office.
We do not supply cages for your birds.
We recommend that you mark your cages with a tag or some way of identity your cage.
This way, they will be easy for you to find after the auction is over.
If you want to place a reserve on your animals, you must be present to stop the auctioneer before he says sold - and tell him your price.
We can deduct what you bought from what you sold but check with office before you leave to make sure you sold enough to pay for your purchases.
🐓Poultry checks are ready once all your items are in computer.
🚜Equipment/Misc checks are ready Monday at 12 pm.
🐄Livestock check ready once all your livestock has sold.
Any checks not picked up by Tuesday at noon are mailed.
*Equipement/Misc checks will be held untill all unsold items are picked up.
NOTE: All sales are between the buyer and the seller. We are an acting agent only.
