Always Love for the Detroit Art Scene

COME PREVIEW OUR NEW EXHIBIT, LUMINOSITY: A DETROIT ARTS GATHERING ✨

Luminosity: A Detroit Arts Gathering, a dynamic exhibition celebrating 60 years of The Wright with over 60 artworks from present-day Detroit artists, long-departed masters, and the museum’s archive. 🔥

Spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and more, Luminosity illuminates the city’s creative spirit through shared histories, personal reflections, and bold artistic exploration. 🖌

This exhibit is curated by Vera Ingrid Grant, an independent curator and scholar who has produced numerous national and international exhibitions. She is based in Ann Arbor, MI and specializes in African and African American art and issues related to race and social justice in contemporary art. ✊🏾

This exhibit opens to the public on Saturday, April 5th. Join us for an opening reception and preview tomorrow, Friday April 4th at 5pm ✉️
