Helpful tip of the day: if you're a pool owner with a cartridge filter your filters should never look like this. If they do replace them immediately. You can clean the filters regularly to sustain the life of them. If they get as dirty and corroded as the filter below, however, they must be replaced. I'm not a pool expert but I have been helping one of my mowing customers figure out why their pool is not getting better circulation. The picture below will explain why. If you're unsure what type of filter you have I may be able to help.
