Another incredible Mastermind series is in the books!

Over the past 6 weeks, entrepreneurs gathered every Tuesday morning to collaborate, learn, and challenge themselves to work on their businesses, not just in them. Using The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Ge**er as the foundation for discussion, participants explored strategies for building productive, sustainable, and successful businesses.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such meaningful conversations and connections throughout the series. We loved seeing business owners invest in both their growth and each other.

Our interns continue to make an impact long after their time at the TSBDC, and we love highlighting where their paths lead next.

In this Past Intern Spotlight, we’re reconnecting with Melisa Temiz, a former TSBDC intern who is now pursuing her second master’s degree through the MBA program at MTSU while serving as a Graduate Assistant at the Business and Economic Research Center (BERC). Through her current role, Melisa contributes to TACIR and housing reports while continuing to grow her experience in research and business analysis.

Melisa shared that one of her favorite parts of interning with the TSBDC was attending client meetings and connecting with people across many different industries. She also encouraged future interns to ask questions, build connections, and take advantage of every opportunity to learn.

From gaining hands-on experience with small businesses to continuing her academic and professional journey, we’re proud to see Melisa thriving and making an impact in her field.

Thank you, Melisa, for being part of the TSBDC team. We cannot wait to see all that you accomplish next!

Celebrating an incredible Spring 2026 internship with Holli Hancock!

To wrap up the semester, our team gathered for an Italian-themed potluck and had the opportunity to hear Holli present her business plan for Root & Form Wellory, a business centered around wellness, fitness, and helping others feel rooted in total wellness. It was exciting to see her passion, creativity, and hard work come to life through her presentation.

After lunch, we continued the celebration at PopStroke with a little friendly competition and lots of laughs on the mini golf course.

We are so thankful for Holli and all of the hard work she contributed during her internship. We cannot wait to see what’s ahead for Holli and wish her the absolute best moving forward!
