I have accepted a one-year appointment to teach in the Management Department of the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University.

I am excited to add academic classroom experience into my career journey, and I am hopeful that my corporate classroom experience can be a benefit to my students as well.

I have spoken on "Ethical Leadership" a few times in the last few months, and the topic keeps coming up in some form or fashion in various, random conversations (no, it is not always me that brings it up, either!)

When I share about these 3 moments, though, it always seems to resonate with others in both their personal and professional lives.

Thinking about your own values, the impact a decision will have (on yourself, others, and your organization), and asking questions for clarity can help you build your professional reputation to the point of trust while passing the moments of temptation and testing with flying colors.

Today marks 250 years since the founding of the United States, and my goal is to acknowledge the friction we feel but ground my message in shared potential versus forced cheer.

Our country has always been an unfinished project shaped by disagreements, struggles, AND a constant striving to do better.

As we celebrate this semiquincentennial holiday weekend, let us all...

I was honored to be invited to speak today to a class of college seniors in the HR Management program at MTSU's Jones College of Business as part of Ethical Leadership Week.

We focused on "3 Moments That Define An Ethical Leader".
1️⃣ When you are tempted
2️⃣ When you are tested
3️⃣ When you are trusted

If only we could approach Mondays with as much joy as my dogs have for a pup cup…

If only we could give as good a "side eye" to rude people as my dog gives me for no reason…
