Here is what we did:
We went out to Jeremy’s house today to do a service call on a zone system for the home. The downstairs has never seemed to keep up and is always running; never getting a satisfied temperature. We went in the attic to inspect the ductwork and zone system itself. After looking it over, we noticed a strap supporting the downstairs trunk line had snapped and broke loose. Which made the pipe hang in a way that was restricting airflow to the downstairs. Also there was a main supply line that had too much tension on it. Subsequently, it had disconnected itself from the duct system. So air was just blowing in the attic creating a major air loss. After we repaired everything in the attic, we came out to the condenser to do a good coil clean because it as well needed that to run efficiently.

❄️🌧️Meteorologists are forecasting a colder winter for Middle Tennessee this year. Which means when the first real cold snap hits -- and it will -- everyone who hasn't had their heating system checked is going to call at the same time.

➡️ We can handle our member load. We're not sure we can handle the full rush.

⚜️ Cajun Care Plan members go to the top of our priority list. If your system goes down in January and you're a member, you get same-day response. If you're not, we'll get to you as fast as we can -- but "as fast as we can" in a cold snap isn't always fast enough.

⚠️Carbon monoxide is called the silent killer for a reason.

Colorless. Odorless. Undetectable without a working detector.

Every fall, emergency rooms across the country see spikes in CO exposure cases when homeowners fire up heating systems for the first time in months. A cracked heat exchanger, a blocked flue, an improperly vented combustion appliance -- these are issues that sit invisible all summer and show up in October.

Two things we'd ask you to do this week:

1. Test your carbon monoxide detectors. (Replace the battery if you haven't in the past year.)
2. Book a fall heating check if your system hasn't been looked at.
