🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸
As we enjoy family, friends, good food, and maybe a glass of wine or sangria, let’s also remember the true meaning of Memorial Day — honoring the men and women who lost their lives while serving in the U.S. military. Their sacrifice gave many of us the freedoms we enjoy today.
Take a moment this weekend to remember, be grateful, and hug the people you love a little tighter. ❤️

🍷📣 HELP… we have a tiny winery problem.

Apparently, 2,431 wonderful humans follow our page… and now my brain has decided that 2,500 sounds much prettier. 😆

So if Bodega del Sur has ever made you laugh, poured you a sangria, introduced you to a wine you loved, listened to your life story on the patio, or simply given you a place to hide from chores… would you consider sharing our page with a friend who enjoys good wine, good humor, and supporting small businesses? ❤️

No prizes. No tricks. No dancing required (unless the sangria kicks in). Just helping a small family winery continue doing what we love after 19 years of ups, downs, harvests, and many, MANY sangrias.

☀️🍷 The FIRST sangria of the day has officially been poured… and today Melissa had the important responsibility of setting the energy for the entire patio. No pressure or anything 😆
Luckily, she understood the assignment perfectly and brought sunshine, laughter, and good vibes with every sip. Honestly, I think the sangria even tasted happier today. 🍹✨
There’s something special about that first sangria of the day at Bodega del Sur… it starts the conversations, the laughter, the relaxing patio moments, and sometimes a few stories that probably should stay at the tasting room. 😂
Thank you, Melissa, for bringing such wonderful energy to our little corner of Murphys today. ❤️

For those new to Murphys history: “The Pokey” was the tiny old jail used during Gold Rush days when Murphys was full of miners, cowboys, and probably a few people making questionable life choices after too much whiskey. Some things never change… except now we mostly argue about parking and whose sangria is best. 🍷😜
Thank you, Steve Gonzalez, for being Sheriff for the day and helping support our wonderful community park. Small towns survive because of big hearts. ❤️

☀️🍷 ATTENTION: We are officially searching for today’s First Sangria of the Day Volunteer… a highly prestigious position with almost no responsibilities except enjoying sangria and helping set the mood for the entire weekend. 😆
At Bodega del Sur, we firmly believe the first sangria of the day carries important responsibilities. A good first sangria can improve attitudes, inspire happiness, and make chores at home seem slightly less terrible. Scientific evidence is limited… but we trust the process. 🍹✨
